If you know me, you may know that I'm not exactly crazy about Final Fantasy 7and 8. However, a cool costume is a cool costume no matter where it comes from, and the Final Fantasy folks... well, they had cool costumes in spades! ^_^I didn't get enough pictures for this section... catching them all in the same place was difficult! I wish I'd taken a photo of Squall's imitation gunblade. Now THAT was a well-done prop. Anyone have a photo I could use (or link to)?
ff-vs-nash.jpg This picture had horrible lighting, but anyhow, it's a group picture of most of the Final Fantasy cosplayers. I was having trouble clearing room, so someone offered to take it for me, and insisted that I join in on the pose. Kind of an ironic mix of characters, if you ask me... ^_^; From left to right, we have: Elena the Turk, "Evil" Aeris (hidden), Edea, Hojo, Zell, "Good" Aeris, Squall, Terra, Seifer, and me as Nash.
aeris2.jpg There were four Aeris cosplayers at the con. Here's the second Aeris I saw, wearing a fancy crushed velvet dress (you can't really see her in the previous group shot). What was somewhat scary about the convention this year was that two seperate girls went as "Evil Aeris"... O_o;; (By the way, my con roommate Jon unknowingly made it halfway into the first picture...so I left him there after
