| Group Shots |
Pretty much all of the photos in this section have characters from more than one series in the same shot. That usually means that they fit into more than one category, so I just put them here in "Group Shots." I'll do some cross-linking later, 'kay? ^_~
bakuretsu-miyu.jpg Four cosplays, nicely divided between two series. On the left we have a winged girl in a blue dress and the male lead character from Bakuretsu (Sorceress) Hunters, and on the right we have Larva (with his mask currently off) and Miyu from Vampire Princess Miyu. Did you see these guys' cosplay skit? ^_~ cosplaywinners1.jpg And the crowd goes wild!! For a lot of us, the cosplay contest was the most fun part of the con, whether we were in it or not. Here are the winners... see their shining, happy faces! :P The second one is a close-up shot of the winners, plus a few others who sneaked in. There are so many in each picture it'd be difficult to name them all, but keep an eye out for Sephiroth, Eatman, Shampoo, and Chichiri, to name a few.
eva-nadesico.jpg Askua from Evangelion (in her plugsuit) meets a rather towering Nadesico character. No name again; Nadesico is another series I'm not too familiar with. ^^; fighter-pair.jpg Tifa Lockheart from Final Fantasy 7, and... some other fighter guy. ~sigh~ Dang, why can't I remember this one?... -_- fighter-trio.jpg Here we have a whole trio of characters from various fighting games. From left to right we have a Mortal Kombat character, then two characters from Street Fighter back-to-back: one I'm not familiar with, and Chun-Li. isaacsgroup1.jpg Perhaps you met Isaac Alexander, the Vice Chair of SakuraCon? Well, if you haven't, he's a really nice guy and an otaku himself. This picture is of him with his small crowd of otaku friends. ^^ (by the way, the two pictures are very similar, so if you're slow to load, only load one)
On the left half we have Cherry, Bloodberry, Lime, and Otaru from Saber Marionette J, and Akito from Nadesico. On the right half, we have (top row) a friend, Ryu from Street Fighter, another friend, the two brothers from a new series called Rekka (I think), the mother from Child's Toy, (now bottom row) Vice Chair Isaac, and Tamahome from Fushigi Yuugi. (phew!)
miaka-fighter.jpg On the left we have a fighter from a game I don't recognize, and on the right we have Miaka in her OAV school uniform. (whoah, this particular Miaka looks like she's ready to party all night...and I think she did. ^^; ) ogami2-ryohki.jpg The second Ogami (from Sakura Taisen) I saw at the con, and the one-and-only human-sized Ryo-ohki cabbit costume. ^_~ I believe these were both made by Melissa. ruricat-misao.jpg Here we have "Ruri in a cat outfit" from Nadesico, plus Misao from Rurouni Kenshin. ...In case you're wondering, they're laughing at my frantic attempts to NOT take the picture right as someone walked in front of the camera. ^_^;; (it was kinda like the shooting gallery at a penny arcade...)

...But wait... all of the cosplayers are about the same age as their characters, and it doesn't include any guys wearing Sailor skirts!! ~gasp~ O_oYou can see a single-person shot of the Sailor Moon cosplayer in this photo in the Assorted section.
