Sakura Taisen is a series of Strategy RPG/Dating Sim games that haven't been released here in North America yet.  Sakura Taisen means "Cherry Blossom Wars," while Sakura is also a common Japanese name.  But you probably already knew that :P

The games feature a very unique variety of characters from all around the world; mostly female.  While the game is probably too cultural and unconventional to be translated, we have seen two Anime OAVs make their way over here under the title "Sakura Wars."  Let the cosplaying commence! ^_^
